Rental Structure:

These are the following categories based on which chauffer driven rental car services in India are priced.Airport transfer:There is a fixed price if the customer wants to be picked up from the airport and needs to be dropped off some place within the same city. For cities which have different domestic and international airport, the charges for the transfer from domestic airport might be different than those for international airport.Railway station transfer:As in the case of airport transfers, there is a fixed price for transfers between railway station and some place locally within the same city.Local Trip/Within City use:If the customer needs a car for local use, the car service is provided for half day (4hrs/40 kms)* or full day (8hrs/80kms). Any extra hour and extra km is charged at the rate applicable for that car in that particular city.Outstation Trip/Out of City use:
If the customer needs the car to make an outstation trip to another city, the customer would be charged the round trip irrespective of whether the customer returns to the city or not.
In case of multiple outstation trips, if the trip does not end in the city from where it started, extra kms equivalent to the distance between the cities where the trip ended to the city where it started would be charged.
For every city from where the trip started, there is a minimum number of kms per day that the customer would be charged in case the total kms for the entire outstation trip (i.e., the total kms to and from the same city) is less.
Any extra km would be charged at the rate as applicable for that car in that city from where the outstation trip originated.
If the trip involves the night stay (out of the city from where the trip started) for the chauffeur, there will be night charges for each such night. The night charges would vary based on the city from where the trip started as well as the type of the car.

Q4: How does the Itinerary Planner work?The Itinerary Planner gives an approximate number of kms that the entire trip would require based on your inputs. Though the Itinerary Planner has given accurate results for most of the trips, however it cannot guarantee that the trip would conclude with in the kms that it calculates. There could be instances where the trip might take more kms than what the Itinerary Planner calculated. There are some examples provided which would make the Itinerary Planner clearer. Also, the Itinerary Planner concentrates only on the number of days for which the car is needed for local use and the number of outstation trips that are needed to be made; it does not care in what order the trip is actually executed.
